These works are a reminder to myself and to all that how generations of people have fought for their rights, for freedom and democracy in China, Hong Kong and other regions within the communist regime where the majority decides to give up. Those photos and text are living reminders of what the communist regime has done and how the braves have been smeared as thugs by the CCP through state propaganda and brainwashing education. It reminds us once more of the importance of journalism photography, without those, some truth may be forever buried by the dirt of history and heroes perished with the flow of time.

That project is political while personal, as a pro-democracy individual, I have been suffering from attacks and verbal abuse on Chinese social media and from pro-CCP individuals here in Canada. But luckily, none of those can silence me for all of those who came before live within me.
