The project “Ice Shanty of Northern Land” is a documentary conducted at Holmes Point in the Town of Georgina on the south coast of Lake Simcoe; the local’s winter activities are centred around the frozen lake during winter times, they’d put up wooden shacks, where the locals called ice hut on the ice while concluding activities such as ice fishing and snowmobiling. Roughly an hour's drive from the buzzing downtown Toronto, I found another world in its own winter wonderland.
